The Tennar Institute News Office collects announcements, false alarms, operational misunderstandings, broadcast fragments and notices that were probably supposed to be internal.
Items may be updated without warning, corrected by Prof. Verbum, denied by Dr. Gidza, or accidentally improved by Werner.
Administrative Notice · 2026-08-16
Dr. Gidza confirms that the Tennar Institute Licence Registry is now available. Institute-authored software may be released under the BSD 3-Clause License where explicitly indicated. Music, recordings, images, lore and third-party material have not become software merely because Applicant clicked same cabinet.
The separate GIDZA Licence v1.0 remains pending ratification. Applicant is advised to read concise version slowly. Longer version has not been disclosed.

Dr. Lyra de la Vega’s fourth lesson in the ongoing School of JavaScript series is now filed under: classList, Hidden Panels — and the Dot That Lied.
The paper introduces visual state, the hidden attribute,
classList.add(), classList.remove(),
classList.toggle(), and the difference between a CSS selector
and a JavaScript class name.
It also documents the Dot Deception, in which Michael writes
panel.classList.toggle(".is-open"), JavaScript obeys exactly,
and the panel remains hidden because the dot was filed in the wrong department.

Dr. Lyra de la Vega’s third lesson in the ongoing School of JavaScript series is now filed under: Selectors, Buttons and the DOM — selecting carefully from the wrong button.
The paper introduces the DOM, selectors, querySelector(),
data attributes, button clicks, addEventListener(), and the
administrative danger of selecting something that is technically correct but
emotionally wrong.
It also documents the Wrong Button Incident, in which JavaScript finds
.article-action, obeys perfectly, and still manages to summon
the wrong part of the page.

The Tennar Institute archive is stocking up on educational materials. Dr. Lyra de la Vega’s second lesson in the ongoing School of JavaScript series is now filed under: Numbers, Integers, Decimals — counting carefully from the wrong end.
The paper introduces JavaScript numbers, basic math operators, percentages,
Math.PI, powers, and the small but emotionally significant difference
between 2 ** 3 and 2 ^ 3.
It also investigates the famous floating-point betrayal where
0.1 + 0.2 refuses to become exactly 0.3,
with practical notes on money, credits, scores and other places where tiny
decimal ghosts should not be allowed near the cash register.

The Tennar Institute archive has received its first formal working paper: Om vaniljekransens hul, a Danish study of kranshed, hulhed and the Verbum-Tennar paradox.
The paper argues that absence may function as identity-bearing presence in Danish pastry culture. Prof. Verbum has described this as obvious.

Studio 69 reports that the broadcast relay is now active-ish. The archive currently indexes 80 music tracks, with station IDs, fake advertisements, promos and incident material circulating between songs.
